In compliance with the principles of accessibility and universal design, the General Directorate of Taxation works to ensure that all citizens – with special attention to people with some type of disability and older – who relate to them through the Internet can access electronic information and services on an equal basis regardless of their personal circumstances, means or knowledge. In other words, they can navigate without encountering difficulties in accessing the DGT website.
- Standards and regulations
The accessibility policy applied by the General Directorate of Taxes is in line with the requirements of "Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September, on accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector".
The web pages of the DGT currently comply with the requirements, Level AA, of Standard UNE-EN 301549:2022 considering the exceptions of RD 1112/2018.
- Features of visualization
The DGT website is optimized for a resolution of 1.024 x 768. If a monitor with a higher resolution is available, the font size may be small in some cases. However, font sizes have been defined so that it is possible to expand or decrease their size from the browser options.
This website has been tested and is optimized for browsers compatible with HTML5 and in the versions supported by its manufacturers. The use of different browsers or versions not already supported by their own manufacturers could lead to access and visualization of the content of the DGT website, but would not guarantee a total and adequate visualization or availability of documents or other functionalities. Updates or browsers can be downloaded on the websites of the providers of this type of program.
In addition, for the proper functioning of this website it is necessary that your browser has enabled the use of Javascript and the use of cookies.
