According to article 11.2 d) of Royal Decree 203/2021, of 30 March, approving the Regulation on the operation and operation of the public sector by electronic means, the electronic headquarters will have a system of verification of the certificates of the headquarters.

You can verify the validity of the certificate of this electronic office, directly and free of charge, through the VALIDe platform.

The headquarters certificates are useful for identifying the electronic headquarters and ensuring secure communication with them, so that they do not allow the malicious intrusion of third parties.

Electronic seal verification system

The art. 21 of art. 21 of RD 203/2021 of 30 March, which approves the Regulation on the operation and functioning of the public sector by electronic means, establishes that in accordance with the provisions of Article 42(b) of Law 40/2015, of 1 October, Public Administrations may use secure code systems for the verification of documents in the development of automated actions and that in any case the verification of the integrity of the document in the corresponding electronic headquarters or associated electronic headquarters must be allowed through a direct verification procedure and free of charge for the interested persons.

Article 11.2.f) of the same Royal Decree 203/2021 indicates that in the electronic headquarters there will be a service to check the authenticity and integrity of the documents issued by the organs, public bodies or public law entities within the scope of the electronic headquarters, which have been signed by any of the signature systems in accordance with Law 40/2015, 1 October, and for which a secure verification code has been generated.

Therefore, the centres and bodies that have a system for checking the CSV of their documents must have it accessible from their respective headquarters.

The Ministry of Finance has different systems for verifying electronic documents by means of secure verification codes. Depending on the body that has issued this document, you will have to access the verification system that allows it to be verified.

Through these systems you can access a document stored by an administrative body, download an electronic document and guarantee the integrity and authenticity of the electronic documents issued by comparing the document with the original.

The Central Electronic Headquarters has this specific section to inform and give access to all the CSV verification systems of the Ministry, in accordance with its function of being the integrating headquarters and access to all the procedures and services of the Department.
